We installed two shower awnings on our caravan, which overcomes a number of the issues you presented with the shower awning.
Can’t drive anywhere, not an issue on the van that doesn’t move.
Installed next to our outdoor shower hatch on the Van, so hot water is easy access.

As for 4wd mounted ones and blocking access. Have a look at the swing arm shower awnings which offset it and is no longer blocking access to any door or window/canopy etc.

Thanks for your advice regarding Kandungaw Peak. I was lucky enough to make the hike completely by myself. Had some bad luck as it was a bit sunny going up, but low cloads came in as I reached the summit. Also I went slightly wrong into the nature as an arrow confused me with the direction, but made it back onto the track.

May I ask if the cost for the boat for 8 pax which is Php1,425.00 is for the whole group or per person?
